Mel believes every person deserves care that honours their story and individuality. Her mission is simple, to create moments of comfort, laughter, and dignity each day. Whether she’s offering hands-on care or coordinating schedules and family communication, Mel brings heart and harmony to everything she does.
Work Experience
Mel holds certifications in CPR/First Aid, CDCP, and Care of the Older Person (QQI Level 5), as well as a Bachelor of Education. Her approach combines skill and empathy, ensuring clients feel both safe and understood.
She specializes in personal care, relationship-building, and emotional connection, using humour and warmth to help clients feel at ease. As a Care Coordinator, Mel seamlessly bridges communication between families and caregivers, ensuring every detail of care is handled with professionalism and heart.
Fluent in English, conversational in Irish, and with a touch of German, Mel embraces cultural connection and inclusive communication in her work.
Mel's Passion
Mel’s favourite part of caregiving is connecting with people and learning their stories, she finds joy in shared laughter, good conversation, and meaningful routines.
Outside of work, Mel channels her creativity into music and art. She plays guitar, piano, and ukulele, and enjoys arts and crafts and reading as ways to recharge. Her joyful energy and curiosity make her a natural at finding common ground with clients from all walks of life.
